Robert Lee Carlson, 61, of Sabetha, Kansas passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Sabetha Manor.
Robert was born June 7, 1958 in Sabetha, Kansas the son of John Irvin Carlson of Sabetha, Kansas and Dixie Lea Carlson of Topeka, Kansas.
Robert graduated from Bern High School in Bern, KS. In life, he enjoyed working with his hands doing carpentry, maintenance, gardening, and farm work. In his free time, he loved going fishing and spending time with friends and family.
Robert was preceded in death by his oldest brother, James Irvin Carlson (1998); his nephew, Brandon Carlson (1996); and niece, Elizabeth Carlson (1991).
Survivors include his father, John Carlson of Sabetha, KS; his mother, Dixie Carlson of Topeka, KS; his four remaining siblings; his brothers, Mike (Cindy) Carlson of Fairview, KS, Roger Carlson of Topeka, KS, Shawn Carlson of Topeka, KS; and his sister, Connie Carlson of Topeka, KS, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Robert was a good man with a good heart who touched the lives of many people during his time on this Earth. Robert was known as someone who would lend a helping hand whenever and wherever he could.
Services are yet to be determined and will be held at a later date. Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha is handling arrangements. Please consider planting a tree or flower in Robert’s memory as he loved the outdoors.
